Forgiven

Sin
The Bible says that all humans have sinned (Romans 3:23). Each of us is deserving of eternal separation from God (Romans 6:23). No matter the sin, murder, terrorism, adultery, theft, pride, gossip, jealousy, lying, etc... we deserve to be punished. It's an all-or-nothing scenario. God does not judge us on whether our "good" outweighs our "bad," but on whether we will accept His way of salvation.
Love
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God" (John 3:16–18). There is only one way of forgiveness. God won't forgive you because you promise to do better next time or because you do good deeds. He will forgive you because Jesus paid the penalty for sin on your behalf.
Salvation
2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "For our sake he made him [Jesus] to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God". Jesus took on our sin so that we wouldn't have to bear it. He did the work and paid the price so that we could receive forgiveness. When you truly realize what Jesus did for you and me and others how can we not be humbled to tears! The greatest thing you will ever do for yourself, your family and those around you is to take the time to understand and live out what Jesus did for us. If you have never accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you can do so right now by believing in Him and praying the following prayer.
Prayer
"Dear God, I realize I am a sinner separated from you. I can never reach heaven by my own good deeds. But you have made provision for my sin. Right now I place my faith in Jesus Christ as God's Son who died for my sins and rose from the dead to give me eternal life. Please forgive me of my sins and help me to live for you. Thank you for accepting me and giving me eternal life."
