It takes two people to have a loving relationship, but it doesn’t take two perfectly loving people. It just takes two people willing to fight to love instead of fighting to be loved. If we are fighting to make sure we are loved, it’s destined to die. If we fight to love, it’s destined to grow. The greatest commandment is not that we fight to be loved- It’s that we love. Matthew 22:37-40,”And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
