One Thing Almost Every Decision Has In Common

Hi friend, One thing every big decision has in common is that it’s always a series of decisions, and we almost always have to change our minds. We make a decision based on what we know, what we see, and what we understand from where we are right now. That’s the best decision we can make. But as we move along, things change. We know more. We see more. We understand more, so we can make a better decision. The worst decision we can make is to set our course in a direction and weld the rudder in place. You don’t want to do that. It may be the right direction now, but it may not be the right direction later. So, you have to be willing to change. Let me give you an example... My daughter Grace is studying for college right now. Recently, I was helping her study. She asked me: "Dad do you really think I should finish college?" I told her: "Baby, I don't know, but we can't make that decision from here. The best we can do right now is to decide that we are going to finish what we started this semester. Then once you get to the end of the semester, you'll be a little further ahead, a little higher up, you'll have better vision and better understanding and you can make that decision, then. Don't try to make decisions you don't have the vision to understand before you need to. Do the best you can with what you have right now. Worry about the rest Later."
Trust God's Word no matter what.
Keep your eyes on the horizon.
