Pain

Pain is something we cannot escape. Something I’m learning is this, my circumstances, my problems, and my difficulties are not the actual enemy I’m fighting.

There is another enemy we confront daily—yet he is unseen.

Someone evil, deceitful, and calculated is trying “to take us down” every single moment of every single day. He is out to get us. He’s out for defeat. He is out for blood. He wants to make our lives a living hell. And sometimes— he does. Sometimes he wins. But only if we let him.

Struggling marriages, overwhelming life circumstances, sickness, financial crisis, loss, mistreatment from your boss, friends, coworkers, or people in your life...these circumstances or people are not your enemy.

Satan

Satan himself is your enemy.

He wants to take US down. He DELIGHTS in our suffering and our pain. He is SO happy when we are overcome, anxious, depressed, and burdened by the people and circumstances in our life.

“The thief comes only to STEAL AND KILL AND DESTROY; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.” John 10:10

“Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8

Satan is overjoyed when someone’s life is fully attacked on all sides.

He LOVES when we are tired, overwhelmed, overcome, anxious, depressed, stressed, confused, frustrated, and worried; He especially delights when we question God’s plan & Christ’s love for us.

You know what satan does not love?

Jesus

The holy and beautiful name of Jesus. The gospel—what Jesus did for us! The powerful proclamation of JESUS.

Just whisper Jesus. Proclaim Jesus today. I want you to know today that singing the name of Jesus over any broken hurt and pain is so much more powerful than the enemy’s defeat and wicked plan for your life.

No more power satan.

Not today satan. We don’t give you power.

You have all the power Jesus! We give you all the glory and blessing for the restoration of our broken pieces and our hurting hearts.

Joy

This is what is miraculous.

Jesus does the opposite of Satan—He dances and celebrates over the JOYS in our lives. And He weeps over the hurts in our lives. He is a sweet comforter. Run to the blessed comforter because He will give you what you need!
