The one thing that lies to you more than anything else

The whole idea that we should do what we feel is right or go where our emotions lead us is a lie told to destroy us. It’s a lie told so fear can use you for what it wants with no regard for what it will cost you. If I wanted to control and wreck the future of every child in the world, I would tell them to just follow their feelings at all cost. I would tell them to fight for “their” rights instead of fighting for what is right. I would tell them to find a way to justify their feelings. Please, please know the world telling you to follow your feelings is not the world loving you. It is an effort to destroy you and use you for its own gain. People who love you will tell you the truth despite how it feels. They shouldn’t be mean, but they will tell you the truth even if it hurts. A very wise man once told me....if you don’t stake out a young tree, don’t be surprised if it grows up crooked.
