What is your greatest opportunity?

I wonder if loving someone who is loving us is even love at all. Maybe it’s just an even exchange. Doesn’t cost anyone anything. The most loved I have ever felt by @tammieavaughan are the times she has loved me in my selfishness. That’s when I know she really loves me. Our greatest opportunity to grow stronger is when we are under a strain. The greatest opportunity you ever have to grow closer to God is when you love through hurt. If you want the power of God in your life, get busy loving God and your neighbor. Your life is not about you. It’s way bigger and more important than that. It’s about God and others. Loving is not enabling. It’s owning your 1% before you address your neighbor’s 99% if that is the case. Then it’s doing what is truly best for your neighbor without regard for yourself. James 1:2-4 “Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
