What was the most powerful decision I ever made?

What was the most powerful decision I ever made?

The greatest miracle ever is the miracle of salvation! It’s the free gift of God, lest no one boast. We can’t earn our salvation. If we could be holy enough on our own.....Jesus wouldn’t have gone to the cross on our behalf. Religion is a trap. It’s the idea that God loves us so long as we don’t sin. So it leads us to fight to be holy so Jesus will love us. That leads to either.....self-righteousness or shame. That’s not love it’s manipulation. Jesus doesn’t love us if we love Him. He loves us period- whether we love Him or not. He didn’t give to get. He gave so He could keep on giving. All that said, your life won’t change because Jesus loves you. Him loving you makes a way for you to change, but your life changes when you love and surrender to Him. I have never met anyone that regretted loving Jesus! Prayers don’t save us, but sincere decisions to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior sure do! The night I gave my life to Jesus I prayed this simple prayer as an expression of my hearts desire....”Lord Jesus, I know I have sinned against you. Please forgive me for my sins. I receive you as my Lord and Savior. I give my life to you. Please help me live the rest of my life for you, Lord. Thank you for going to the cross for me, for saving me, and for giving me the free gift of salvation and the gift of your Holy Spirt, to help me to fight to live a loving life. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.” The next most powerful decision I ever made was to be baptized. After you surrender to Jesus get baptized! It’s the beginning of a powerful life!!! Thank you Jesus!!!!! Is it just me, or can anyone else testify? John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”
