How Can I Know if I’m Going in the Wrong Direction?

One way to know you are going in the wrong direction is if everyone else is going the same direction.
You know, the world is led by fear. We say: the world this, the world that. What is the world?
The world is selfishness and it’s lead by fear so it’s always doing what’s best for itself, without regard for others. The world is always doing what feels right.
So, you think, if everybody else is doing it, it can’t be wrong. No, no, no!! If everybody else is doing it, it almost can’t be right. Because the world is doing what feels safe. Surrounded by these people, you have no idea where your feelings are leading you, that the crowd is leading you to your own destruction
You have to be willing to ask why and to dig for the truth and then follow the truth wherever it takes you.
You have to be willing to swim upstream, to go against the grain. Then you’ll find the truth, and if you follow the truth, you will find yourself going the right way.
Trust God’s Word no matter what, and keep your eyes on the horizon.
Psalm 25:5(NIV)
Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.
John 3:21(NIV)
But those who live by the truth come into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
Ephesians 6:14(NIV)
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place.
Matthew 7:13(NIV)
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it."
