The truth is that when you are truly loved or not loved, it’s never because of what you have or haven’t done. It’s never because of what you accomplish or fail to accomplish. If someone truly loves you, it has nothing to do with you. They have made the decision to choose to love you. And if it’s real love, it’s not dependent on anything you do or don’t accomplish. So, the lie that we believe or the lie that leads to boastfulness and pride is that we need to earn being truly worthy of love. God doesn’t love you because of who you are.
