What is the Difference Between Loving Someone and the Fear of Hurting Someone?

What is the Difference Between Loving Someone and the Fear of Hurting Someone?

Love never ever wants to hurt anyone! It’s extremely painful for love to be forced to deliver the news that the person it loves needs to change. That said....though it may be painful, love will deliver the message not for itself but for the sake of the person it loves, and it will take no joy in any suffering. Fear on the other hand will enable. Fear will tell selfishness what it wants to hear so it will be loved. It’s really not loving anyone but itself. It’s doing what it takes to be loved. It’s selfishness, not love at all. All this said, we all know when someone shares truth with us for our own sake. We may not like the bad news, but we know deep in our souls someone just loved us. In this world where so many in the media and the political world tickle our ears with what we want to hear, please remember it’s not love. It’s manipulation. This generation has a very unique opportunity to seek truth and follow it. Even if it hurts for a while. It’s why I wrote “The Right Fight- How to Live a Loving Life.”The truth belongs to no one but God. It has always been and will always be! Jesus help me and all of us have the courage to live a loving life! James 1:23-25 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
