What is the difference between regret and repentance

Regret doesn’t equal repentance and repentance doesn’t mean we won’t have regrets. If we have really repented then we are likely in the fight of our lives. The fight to never ever do it again. Declaring independence is not the end of the fight it’s the beginning. I discuss this all extensively in “The Right Fight”. How to live a loving life. If you still feel shame or guilt for what you have repented for I say thank Jesus a million times over for paying the price for your sin. Then don’t waste His sacrifice. Fight to move on and be ever so grateful for His forgiveness. It’s all Jesus! He paid the price so you can move on in humility and share His amazing love with others. John 1:9
