What to do when you are in what God had for you and you're not sure anymore

How do we know what to do when we are in a place we believe God called us to be, but then wonder if we are where God wants us to be? I’m in a place like that right now. Where I wonder, did I miss God, or is where I am where I am supposed to be? I have been here before. I have been here because I did what I wanted, not what God wanted. And I have been here because I was where God wanted me to be. I have learned that in either circumstance, if I am willing to follow Jesus right now, in this moment, and fight to live a loving life one loving decision at a time, then whether I am where God called me to be, or where I chose to be, He can still lead me through it all. Our lives turn on a dime the moment we chose to chase love, to follow Jesus at all cost. It may take some suffering and some pain to get where He wants us to be, but the moment we surrender and put Him first, we are then headed where He wants us to be. This is why I say,”Trust God’s Word no matter what, and keep your eyes on the horizon!” It’s why I need this reminder myself right now. It’s all Jesus, and without Him, I am nothing. I wonder how anyone makes it without Jesus. I pray for them with all my heart, because God knows they need it! Proverbs 3:5-6,”Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” Psalm 25:4-5,”Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
